Toronto Beginnings

Jabi was born in Toronto, Canada, on October 11, 1973. Raised in an environment steeped in healthcare tradition, he developed an early fascination with science and medicine, propelled by his family's longstanding commitment to medical service. This early exposure laid the groundwork for his future in medicine.

His medical academic path started in 1996 at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, where he earned his MD in 2000. This crucial period in Texas honed his medical competencies and ignited his passion for diagnostic radiology, which would later define his career.

Postgraduate Training

His postgraduate journey was robust and distinguished. In 2001, he completed a Transitional/Internal Medicine internship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston. Further specializing, he pursued a fellowship in Body Imaging at the same institution in 2005 and completed another fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine/Mallinckrodt Institute in 2006. Dr. Shriki began his professional life at LAC + USC Medical Center and USC University Hospital in Los Angeles, serving as a staff radiologist from 2006 to 2010. Veteran Affairs Healthcare System
